If a program doesn't work on your current operating system.

There can be some old games or programs that don't support your installed operating system,  But do you know that you can make them work using compatibility options in Windows.

To change the compatibility options, right click on the program Icon which doesn't run on your computer.

It doesn't matter whether  it is shortcut icon or the original program Icon

Now click on properties Then you will have the properties dialog box as shown below

Then click on the compatibility tab and change the compatibility mode to an older version by adding a check to the check box and  try ruining it again.  If it still doesn't work just try another version.
